This album is the offshoot of recording in a lo-fi home studio in Northland, Wellington in 2008. One mic, a battered old synth, a couple of guitars, some hand-drums and miscellaneous percussion, and a world of digital effects.

All the songs I meant to record didn't come out quite right; a bunch of other tracks, from which these Experiments are selected, sort of did. These experiments were usually improvised in an afternoon, recorded by laying down a track of something and layering in extra tracks over that.

Some tracks are very silly, some are sad and beautiful, some are ambient, some are just wtf.
